I had a great experience at this hotel! the location was fantastic, with bus stops and food outlets nearby. It made it so convenient to explore the city. Secondly, the room was surprisingly spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, and even though there was no fridge, the basic amenities were sufficient. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying, providing a good start to the day.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic.

My wife and I stayed in Kam Leng Hotel for 3 nights, generally we are quite satisfied. The room is neat though compact, got everything needed, locker, fridge, hair dryer, electric jug, big LCD TV, the air-con is new, the mattress and bed linens are comfortable and clean, all that are in line with what I heard that the renovation was done in this year. Our room window faced the yard, so it was quiet. One good thing is the electric power socket is universal, no need to use an adapter, wifi is free, and I saw a laptop in the hallway next to the lobby free for guests use, so if you use your PC lightly during the trip, then no need to bring one with yourself. If you indulge in local food, a hawker center is just opposite, we settle most lunches / dinners there. 3 bus stops to Lavender MRT station, many buses to downtown.

The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation, with easy access to Ferrer Park MRT station and a bus stop directly opposite. This makes it easy to travel around and explore the city's many tourist attractions. the rooms have comfortable beds, clean towels and linen, and a small table and chair for convenience.
The cleanliness of the hotel could be improved.

The design of the hotel is nostalgic and brings you back to the past. Just across the road brings you a wide arrays of food selections. Near to town and mrt.
Since the designer/owner had decided on cement scripting for the floor finishes, then they should make provision for the sound cause because of the echoes from within the room as well as outside. Sound from the outside is really audible and can disturb your sleep.

Location was great. Cheap taxi to airport yet close to a lot of good things including hawker food across the street.
A bit of city noise while in the bathroom. Really not a big deal.

Good Location and Comfy Rooms
The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, perfect for exploring the city. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and cozy, with a good amount of space to move around. The bed was comfortable, which made for a nice night's sleep. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The carpet was musty and dirty, and there was a strong odor throughout the room. The bathroom was in poor condition and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.
